Connect Groups
During our Connect Group semesters, we gather weekly in small groups to help us connect with God and others. We take time to learn how to implement the truths of God’s Word into our everyday lives. This is where you can feel comfortable talking about the Bible, asking questions, and sharing prayer requests.

Connect Groups meet at different times and in various locations in our community.
See below for our list of current groups.
FALL 2018 SESSIONS

FINDING FATHER

Leader: Ellie Short
Time: Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.
Location:on HHI
Cost: $25 for workbook
Childcare: Yes
Starts: Sept. 12
Description:
• Do you feel that God is disappointed with you or that you always fall short of pleasing him?
• How common is fear, depression or loneliness in your life?
• Do you worry about being rejected and abandoned by God and others?
• Do you feel you are doing all the right “Christian stuff” and nothing changes in your life or family?
• Have you put a face on God that you received from your earthly father?
If you can answer “yes” to any of the above questions, I would like to invite you to join me on a journey of opening our hearts to discover who our Father really is and His affection for us. The healing and love our hearts need is sourced in the tangible substance and revelation of God’s love being poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Most importantly, the Holy Spirit will identify and uncover the blockages that have disconnected us and caused us to see our Father through the distorted, colored lenses of our past. When our hearts are changed by His love, everything changes.
